No. These sets are only decked out in solid colors like dark reds and olive greens, giving them a vaguely unrealistic, clean, technicolor look. And that made me think they were meant to pay homage to the films of the era. Where the movie is set. . But if that's the case, why doesn't the soundtrack resemble 50s rock and techno music? Daniel Craig (is it my imagination or is he starting to talk like Sid James?) is hindered from playing the lead role by constantly having to speak gibberish in a non-native accent.
