Four children make a mysterious discovery on their home planet that leads them to get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy.. The holographic circus that entertains Neel's young siblings is the same one that Chewbacca's family watches in the infamous The Star Wars Holiday Special (1978).. Featured in the cast of AniMat' s Crazy Cartoon: Silly Old Deadly Bear (2022). Knowing that a lot of hate will be directed at this series due to the ups and downs of recent Star Wars, I'm happy to say that this is an upswing. So far...The first 2 episodes don't break new ground, nor are they very original, but that doesn't matter, since it delivers well in everything. The cast and their acting are excellent, the costume/set design is probably the best we've seen since Andor, the writing, especially the hilarious banter between the kids, was good. Again, nothing new, but it's intriguing nonetheless, and I'm excited to keep watching. It gives me strong Treasure Planet vibes. As someone who didn't enjoy the recent Star Wars, I was surprised by Skeleton Crew. I hope anyone even remotely interested, or even upset by the recent shows, gives it a shot. Don't let the "for kids" talk fool you Star Wars was made for everyone, including this one.
