It follows three very different families competing for the same 1920s Spanish-style villa that they believe will solve all their problems. Dennis Leary and Ray Romano appeared in the Ice Age franchise (2002 to present). I was surprised to see the show rated as low as it is, but it made more sense when we saw a lot of reviews explaining how they didn’t make it past the first season. The show is a mysterious slow burn that may not be for everyone. I personally found it funny and entertaining, with Lisa Feldman’s tone, which I like. I really like the cast and everyone’s performances. I wasn’t sold on Ray Romano at first because of my prejudice (I couldn’t tell him from Everybody Loves Raymond for the life of me), but that wore off pretty quickly. All the various characters have their own side stories that create a tangled web of chaos that is gradually, if not completely, unraveled. By the last episode, I was pretty invested in the story, despite the fact that I solved a major plot point very early on. I'm not mad about it, though. I'd love to see more of this show, and I really hope they get a second season. Without wasting time scrolling endlessly, here's a full list of new movies and TV shows streaming on Netflix this month.
