A Montana ranching family faces off against others encroaching on their land. Forrie J. Smith, who plays Lloyd, is an expert in the rodeo world. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) seems to frequently “forget” his Montana accent and reverts to the Southern California voice he often uses.
