Charles, a retiree, gets a new lease on life when he answers a private detective ad and becomes the mole in an undercover investigation at a nursing home.. Based on the Chilean documentary "El Agente Topo". A remake of the film El agente topo (2020). I think a lot of fiction is naturally meant to make you think something like, "It was an honor to be a part of these fictional characters' lives." This show undeniably achieves that goal well. Even those who come for the mystery that made it less of a focus should be captivated by the humanity that comes through not only in the writing but also in the performances of all the cast. Props to all departments involved. While Netflix has been struggling to renew shows lately, I hope they seize this potential to give them a season 2, as I look forward to seeing more of these incredible characters' journeys.
