Abrams’ “Lost” almost had a completely different cast

Plot

Survivors of a plane crash are forced to work together to survive on a seemingly deserted tropical island. See which celebrities missed out on one of the most popular TV shows of all time. The character Sawyer was originally conceived as an older, street-smart, suit-wearing city hustler from Buffalo, NY. However, when Josh Holloway forgot his lines during his audition and then kicked a chair in frustration and swore loudly, the writers liked the edge he brought to the character Sawyer and decided to write Sawyer as more of a darker Southern drifter.

Sun and Sun are married and share the last name “Kwon,” which becomes a major plot point in the final season. However, when Koreans marry, the wife never takes her husband’s last name. In fact, in Korea, it is not allowed to marry someone with the same family name, except in rare cases. [repeated line] Desmond Hume: See you in another life, brother.

Abrams on his laptop in black and white as a homage to The Twilight Zone. I've watched a lot of TV in my life, maybe too much. However, this is the best TV series I've seen in a long time. Probably the best ever.

You just can't predict what's going to happen

Every week the show seems to tell you something new about the island and its inhabitants. I'm sitting there waiting to see what's going to happen and before I know it the show is over and I have to wait to find out what happens next. Absolutely captivating! This show is fantastic and I hope it continues to be produced because fantastic shows in the US are often cancelled due to a slight drop in ratings or producers thinking the shows are too weird.

I really hope the show continues so we can watch it here in the UK because it's a fantastic series and I would love to have DVDs of this series so I can get all my friends excited about it too
